The leadership pathway, step by step

Before you request an intake, see how a twelve-week Leadership Pathway Consultation is structured — and what we ask of you between sessions.

Designed around German promotion realities

Leadership advancement in Germany often hinges on documented decision-making, continuity planning, and clarity of title and scope. The pathway mirrors that sequence rather than importing a generic coaching curriculum.

Sessions are held in English. We review German-language job descriptions, appraisal forms, and Tarifvertrag references when they matter to your case.

1

Intake week

You complete a short written brief. We schedule a 90-minute audit covering role history, promotion attempts, and the openings you are watching — internal or external.

2

Pathway design

By week four you receive a written leadership pathway brief: target role language, capability gaps, and calendar milestones tied to your organisation’s review cycle.

3

Evidence and rehearsal

Mid-engagement sessions build decision stories, stakeholder maps, and interview simulations with written feedback you can reuse in appraisals.

4

Negotiation close

Final sessions prepare the offer or promotion conversation — title, scope, and compensation ranges typical for your sector in Germany.

Between sessions

What we expect from you

Real materials

Bring job descriptions, appraisal notes, and organisational charts when available. Hypotheticals waste the engagement.

Scheduled practice

You will rehearse conversations aloud. Reading notes silently does not transfer under panel pressure.

Honest constraints

Visa status, Tarifvertrag limits, and family logistics belong in the brief. We plan around them rather than ignoring them.

Request a pathway intake

If the twelve-week structure fits your timeline, send an intake request. If you need something shorter first, ask about a Promotion Readiness Session.
