Refund and cancellation policy

Eligibility overview

Refunds depend on how far the engagement has progressed, whether written materials have been delivered, and how much notice you give when cancelling or rescheduling. This website does not process payments; refunds apply to fees paid under a confirmed engagement invoice.

Cooling-off for consumers

Where mandatory consumer cooling-off rights under German law apply to distance contracts for services, you may withdraw within 14 days of contract conclusion unless you expressly request that consulting begin during that period and acknowledge that you may owe fees for work already performed.

Full refund

A full refund is available if you cancel in writing before the intake session and before any written pathway brief or diagnostic deliverable has been started. Cancellation requests must be sent to hello@apigatewaylab.digital.

Partial refund

If you cancel after the intake but before the midpoint of a multi-session package, we refund the unused session portion minus preparation already completed, typically retaining 30% of the package fee to cover intake and design work. Exact amounts are confirmed in writing for your engagement.

Non-refundable items

Completed sessions, delivered written briefs, and interview-simulation feedback already provided are non-refundable. Single Promotion Readiness Sessions that have been held are non-refundable. Deposits that secured a start date within 14 days may be non-refundable if we turned away other clients for that slot — this will be stated on your confirmation.

Rescheduling

Sessions may be rescheduled with at least 48 hours’ notice at no charge. Shorter notice counts as a used session unless we can fill the slot. Repeated rescheduling that extends a pathway beyond its planned end date may require a scope amendment.

No-shows

If you miss a scheduled session without notice, that session is treated as delivered. We will offer one courtesy reschedule per engagement at our discretion.

Work already started

Once a written leadership pathway brief or stakeholder map has been delivered, fees allocated to that phase are not refundable. Remaining unused sessions may still qualify for partial refund under the rules above.

Refund process and timing

Email hello@apigatewaylab.digital with your name, engagement reference, and reason for the request. We confirm eligibility within five business days. Approved refunds are returned via the original payment method within 14 business days of approval.

Transition retainers

Six-month Leadership Transition Support may be cancelled after any completed monthly session. Unused future months are refundable on a pro-rata basis; the current month is non-refundable once the monthly session has occurred or been forfeited by no-show.
